Though BAR is a new band, its members are seasoned veterans of the Indian independent music scene.

Judah brings his legacy from Vertigo, the Chennai-based rock band that made waves across South India in the late 2010s. Known for its original compositions and powerful stage presence, Vertigo left a lasting mark on the regional music landscape. Today, he continues to perform actively with acclaimed Bangalore-based projects including Grace n' the Clichés and Headshot.

Ashwin is a driving force behind several standout projects in the Bangalore music scene, including The Raft Projects, Grace n' the Clichés, Purple Mints, and Headshot - each showcasing his artistry alongside a collective of exceptional musicians.

Adding to BAR's pedigree, three of its members - Judah, Glenn, and Ashwin - were part of Grace n' the Clichés, Ashwin's project that won the Mahindra Blues Big Blues Band Hunt 2026, earning a place among India's most exciting emerging blues and independent acts.

BAR carries that spirit forward with a sharper, more evolved sound, powered by a fresh lineup and a deep commitment to musical excellence. Beyond the stage, the members bring extensive experience as performers, educators, composers, producers, and mentors, having collectively taught, performed, and created music across multiple platforms for over a decade.

Rooted in experience yet driven by reinvention, BAR represents a meeting point of diverse musical journeys, brought together by a shared passion for creating unforgettable live music experiences.
